Our PURSUIT – Simply stated… More! John was thrilled that we who have received Christ as our Lord and Savior have received Him in all His fullness. That fullness is experienced more and more as grace abounds all along the way. “Grace upon grace!” This can be our growing experience. Essential to experiencing His fullness is both the Word of God and the Spirit of God. That brings us to the challenge I wish to address in this Blog.
Our PURPOSE – Healing the Breach: It is my view that the fullness of Christ can only be experienced through the fullness of the Word of God AND the fullness of the Spirit of God! My objective is to open a discussion on how we can take the next steps in healing the breach between the Evangelical Christians who emphasize the primacy of the Word of God, and Charismatic saints who emphasize the power of the Spirit of God.
I presume to declare the war over! Do you not sense it? Join with me as we seek to tug God’s people closer together to experience the fullness of Christ in a greater, more mature way. Let’s keep Jesus central in all our postings and comments. The true evidence of “healing the breach” is our unity in worshipping our Lord in both SPIRIT and TRUTH.
Our FEATURES – a Blog Plus: My Blog posts will focus on Jesus in all His fullness. In these devotional thoughts, I will raise some questions and offer some challenging content as well. I welcome your comments, and will post representative comments from you. Plus, there are significant articles in the Resource Tool Box that go deeper, and address real issues that separate us. These resources are practical tools for pastors and leaders who wish to heal the breach in their own ministry context.
